As a new vlogger and Youtuber, getting more subscribers can be very challenging.  To start off, there are no secret tips or tricks that can help you boost your subscribers and views.  It takes long time and lots of hard work to get more subscribers and views.

Obviously, you can buy scribes and views and take short cuts but you are taking a lots of risk of getting banned or getting in trouble.  I highly don’t recommend it.

Learning Curve

Producing entertaining and good quality videos needs certain skills.  Lots of new vlogger and Youtuber lacks many skills to be successful in Youtube. Obliviously, you need to learn how to edit and shot videos.  But producing a good video involves lot more than that.  If you are going to be in the video, you need to learn to be comfortable in front of the camera.  You need to learn to plan and do some kind of preproduction of the video including write some kind script of what you are going to say.

You also need to learn how to promote your videos.  There are many ways to promote your video but social media is one many ways.  There are many social media platforms, so you need to learn about social media and learn which works best for you.  You need some graphic skills to design thumbnails for your videos.

If you already know some of these skills, you have the advantages.  If you are not, you just have to learn these skills.  Some might have luxury to work with others with some of the skills and some might have some money to put someone to do certain things.  But most of us don’t have to luxuy of doing these.

My recommendation is to not to focus on gaining more subscribers and views but focus more on learn these skill so you can product good quality videos.

For many small Youtubers, 1k subscribers are the ultimate goal.  Because of recent Youtube rule change, you can’t monetize you video unless you have 1k subscribers.  But in order to get to 1k subscribers, you need to get 100 subscribers.

First 100 is the toughest

If you have less than 100 subscribers, getting 100 subscribers is the first goal you should strive for because first 100 is the toughest.

If you are in a situation where you don’t know what kind of videos you should make, this is great time for you to try new things and experiment.

Also if you are not comfortable with video production quality, this is great time to learn to make better entertaining videos.  Making a good video takes time and lots of practice.

What kind of video are you making?

In order to be successful in Youtube, you first have to think about what kind of video are you going to make?  This is very important because to gain more subscribers and views, you need to make videos that vieweres are interested in.

Once you know what kind of videos you are going make, search Youtube to see if there are many others who are doing the same.  At this time, Youtbue is veyr satrated with people making same type of videos.  If you are going make video in this satrated niche, it would be very difficult to stand out from rest of them.

Once you know what kind of videos you are going make, find out who the audicences are.  This is imporatn becuse, when you are starting out, no one is going to look for you.  You have to go to them and promote to them.

if you are not sure what video to make, start with something you are good at.  Use you skills and talent to make video and see where it goes.

One type of video you should avoid doing when you are starting out is daily vlog.  First of all, there are thousands of poeple hwo are doing daily vlog and you are going to just another small fish swming in a big ocean.  But at then end, no one is going to care what you do everyday.  One except would be that you have very extrodrinary lifestyle.
